Wild Carp Trust trustee Peter Whipp is up at Pant y Llyn searching for carp fry.
This year we have increased our fry collection activities at the mountain lake, with 15 crayfish traps baited with bread and checked every 20 minutes from dawn to dusk.
We’ve also built a large holding net for the fry, though so far it’s serving a better purpose to contain the thousands of minnow’s we’re catching in the traps.
