The Wild Carp Trust has been flat out this year, saving the Llyngwyn carp. Because of this, we haven’t had chance to keep on top of the couch grass growth at Iris Pool. The invasive weed, which grows across the pool from the surrounding pool, has choked the water and cut off sunlight.
Peter Whipp has led a work party at the pool to begin clearing the weed. It’s a huge but necessary job.
