Successful wild carp spawning at Pant y Llyn

The Wild Carp Trust was present at Pant y Llyn when the carp spawned.

The carp began spawning during the night on 14th June and we were there at first light on the 15th to take these pictures then enter the water to search for eggs on the weed.

These are the carp spawning that laid the eggs that would be collected and entered into the Wild Carp Trust’s conservation programme.
