The Wild Carp Trust auction raised £1200 for our charity. The trustees and committee thank all donors and bidders for helping us to raise these important funds.
Wild Carp Trust chair of trustees Fennel Hudson said, “This is a huge amount of money for our little charity. We are only 18 months old and still in the early stages of growth, so this money will help to accelerate our conservation activities. It would have taken ages to raise this through memberships, so we send a massive thank you to everyone who helped – be it people who very kindly donated a lot to the auction, those who bid in the auction, and those who won the lots.”
The funds from the auction will be used to purchase fish holding equipment (tanks, pumps, filters, aerators) so that we can look after fish (particularly young fish requiring growing on) prior to moving them to their new homes.
