28 September 2024

The Wild Carp Trust has concluded its rehoming activity at Llyngwyn for 2024, saving a total of 1,485 carp.

Wild Carp Trust president John Bailey said of the achievement, “Thank God for the Wild Carp Trust and its mission to save as many of the Llyngwyn wildies as possible and to move them, at least temporarily, to safer homes. The evacuation numbers stand at an astonishing 1485 fish and this number, surely, will guarantee the future of the strain.”
