Alan Lewis, who was awarded the British Empire Medal (BEM) for conservation and services to angling, is the first Honorary Vice-President of the Wild Carp Trust.
Alan was Chairman of Rhayader & Elan Valley Angling Association for nearly 40 years, doing so much to conserve one of the UK’s oldest strains of carp that live in Llyngwyn.
