‘Corsican’ Dave Felce, who is the UK’s leading exponent of fly fishing for wild carp, has become a Wild Carp Trust ambassador.
Dave, who writes prolifically for angling magazines and is a regular at fishing events and exhibitions, is a self-confessed fly fishing maverick who runs the Carp Champions organisation that promotes fly fishing for carp. He’s especially passionate about stalking wild fish using natural fly imitations, objecting to the idea of ‘chumming’ for carp to get them to feed. He fishes internationally, especially for the mountain carp of Spain.
Dave will be representing the Wild Carp Trust at upcoming events including the British Fly Fair International exhibition.
